a little bit about me
Farah is an Associate Solicitor heading the Immigration department at the firm.
Having been qualified now for over ten years, she has gained experience in a wide variety of complex cases within the different areas of Family and Immigration law.
Experienced and willing to act under extreme time pressures her aim is to ensure that justice is achieved for her clients. She has also practised as a housing and family solicitor within her ten years as a solicitor, which has assisted her greatly in understanding the vulnerability of clients.
Farah is a member of the Law Society, authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, and is accredited as a Senior immigration Law practitioner as well as a Senior Immigration Supervisor.
Farah has achieved many successful outcomes for her clients involving:
- Entry clearance & Administrative Review
- Leave to remain/further leave to remain
- Indefinite leave to remain matters
- Representation before the First and Upper Tier Tribunals
- Judicial Review before the Administrative Court
- Asylum and Human Rights
- Leave Under the Domestic Violence Concession
Farah further has significant experience dealing with clients in detention, those claiming asylum, bail and those who have psychological issues including victims of torture and trafficking. She has previously been an important part of the legal team that has embarked upon a series of judicial review claims challenging the Detained Fast Track scheme.

Outside of the office, Farah has numerous interests including spending quality time with her young family, and enjoying her love for the theatre and Pilates.
