Family Solicitor / Legal Executive

The firm are seeking to recruit a new Family Solicitor / Legal Executive to join the Slough office.

The family department is growing and doing incredibly well, we only deal with privately funded work; and have a broad range of clients which includes HNW individuals. You will run a high-quality full caseload of privately funded family matters, with emphasis on ancillary relief, as well as some private children matters.

This position comes with excellent prospects for progression and would suit someone seeking a step up regarding responsibility.

  • You will be a Family Solicitor / Legal Executive with at least 3 years PQE (there is no upper limit on the amount of PQE).
  • You will have good experience of running your own general family, privately funded caseload.
  • Ability to represent before the Family Court or experience in advocacy is a distinct advantage.
  • A client following is an advantage.
  • Energy, drive and enthusiasm are key.
  • You will have a meticulous, almost forensic eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and client care skills are necessary.
  • Salary is negotiable depending on your level of PQE / We may consider a consultant fee-sharing arrangement.

Paralegal (with Trainee Solicitor prospects).

Paralegal position leading to Training Contract for the right candidate.

We actively seek exceptional paralegal support to the above departments, and the opportunity for a training contract exists for exceptional candidates.

The ideal candidate will:-

  1. Have exceptional people skills and interpersonal charisma.
  2. Be dynamic, entrepreneurial and have an “out of the box” approach.
  3. Ideally have experience in an Immigration Law firm, or have completed the Law Society Immigration examinations.
  4. Be organised, able to prioritise and follow processes
  5. Be able to act on the firm’s vision to deliver exceptional legal service and to deliver 100% client care, and to strive towards that vision tirelessly.
  6. Knowledge of social media marketing is an advantage.
  7. Ability to speak Punjabi, Hindi and/or Urdu is a distinct advantage.
